Bateman-McArthor.

Last evening at 9 o'clock at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. T. W. McArthor, 114 South Pryor Street, Miss Annie E. McArthor and Judge J. N. Bateman were united in marriage. The ceremony was a quiet home affair, only members of the immediate familities of the contracting parties being present. Rev. Walker Lewis, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiated.

After the reception given by the bride's mother, Mr. and Mrs. Bateman left at midnight for Washington and other northern cities. They will return to the city about July 1st, when they will be at home to their friends at No. 200 Angier avenue.

The bride is a young woman possessed of many charming qualities which have made her popular among a large circle of friends in the city. The groom is the presiding officer of the 123th district city court, and since coming to Atlanta has become one of the city's best known professional men. Prior to the appointment to his present position of honor, he was a prominent and successful member of the Atlanta bar, having been admitted to practice in Houston county.
